Celebrate 50 years of Casio watches with a commemorative Casiotron timepiece that sparkles with Casio passion for new value and constant innovation.
The Casiotron TRN-50ZE embodies the spirit of craftsmanship inspired by the excitement of “making something from nothing” — the thrill of going from “0” to “1” — the total creativity that brought the world the very first Casiotron in 1974. The first wristwatch released by Casio, the Casiotron was also the world’s first digital watch with an automatic calendar function.
The 50th anniversary TRN-50ZE pays homage to the original, but with a black and gold color scheme that evokes the first flicker of light, that spark of innovative craftsmanship, where the creation of new value begins.
The gold colour of the bezel, logos, and other elements complements the sophisticated look of the dial and dial ring for a luxe design that makes it easy to read the time.
Separate hairline and mirror finishes on the stainless-steel band add sophisticated textural appeal. The single gold-colour link on an otherwise black ion-plated band is a special touch that catches the eye, flickering like a light that breaks the darkness and illuminates the path to value innovation. The link is also laser engraved with “50th ANNIVERSARY.”
The case back*1 employs special design features worthy of a limited-edition anniversary model. These include an engraved “CASIO 50th ANNIVERSARY” mark encircled by 0’s and 1’s, capturing the Casio devotion to the art of making something from nothing.
The watch comes in special environmentally responsible packaging made with recycled materials, including a cotton pouch for storing accessories.
*1 The orientation of the case back may vary from watch to watch due to details of the manufacturing process. Note: Graphics may vary from actual appearance.
